Ned Savant is the living embodiment of the word, “ambition”. By day, he leads the kitchen of a perfectly-named, imperfectly-run cafe known as Aipotu, barely scraping by in his classes at CU Boulder. By night, he spends countless hours in the studio, uncaging his creativity through his music, hoping to fulfill his dream to one day share the stage with the biggest emcees in the rap game. With every wasted day at Aipotu and his musical promise steadily generating more attention, Ned knows his stardom is imminent.

Caroline Santos is an enigma. A recent immigrant from Honduras, she’s looking for a part-time kitchen job at Aipotu to supplement her time spent studying psychology. The new girl checks every single one of Ned’s boxes: confident, clever, and curious. Behind her delicate, innocent presentation, Caroline’s uncertain origins draw Ned closer. With every layer Ned peels away, he falls harder and harder for the girl whose existence begins to dictate his every choice. Though a myriad of obstacles may clog their turbulent momentum, Ned decides he will stop at nothing if forever is on the table. Despite all of his ambition, Ned struggles to decide which path for his future is more enticing: his passion or his person. His raps or his rose. His future or his forever.
